TYPE X COLLAGEN

This remarkable collagen is derived from the egg shell membrane has been used for centuries in traditional medicine practices, particularly in East Asia. It is composed of various components, such as collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans, and other proteins, which contribute to its unique properties and supports joint health, alleviates pain, reduces inflammation, and promotes skin health. It is believed to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties, which make it a valuable ingredient in our formula. Due to its high bioavailability and ability to target specific areas, it incredibly effective.

HYALURONIC ACID (HA)

Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid) is a substance found in all vertebrates, mainly connective tissue such as cartilage, bone and skin. We use an awarding winning Hyaluronic Acid in our Multi-Collagen formula (HAPLEX®Plus) that is clinically proven to improve skin elasticity and decrease symptoms of degenerative osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. As we age, our cells metabolism slows down and hyaluronic acid (HA) synthesis in our body decreases. As a result, there is not enough water in the collagenous fibre and elastic fibre of the skin and therefore wrinkles appear. Furthermore, because of the loss of HA within the synovial fluid of joints, it can lead to osteoarthritis. The synthesis and degradation of HA in the body is a dynamic balanced process.
